Cllr Sue Coleman attended the Salvation Army Christmas Carol service at their headquarters in Leek. As with most church services the collection plate was passed around. But on this occasion the total raised amounted to an amazing £984 – just short of a grand! “Only fitting then that we should round it up,” says Sue after she managed to blag a further £20 from the other guests, including the Chairman of the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council.
