Leek Town Council maintains seven allotment sites, situated in: Cheadle Road, Beggars Lane, Peggs Field, Badnall Street, Parrs Field and Crescents One and Two. The sites make up nearly three hundred plots, for which we charge £46.00 for a full plot and £23.00 per half-plot per annum.
To apply to have an Allotment a resident within Leek Parish, please email admin@leektowncouncil.gov.uk or phone the Town Council office on 01538 381271, with your Name, Address, Telephone and Email contact details and if you have a site that you prefer.
In collaboration with the Leek Allotment Holders Association, the Town Council monitors inactive plots to reduce the waiting list and ensure the best value from these assets.
Competitions for Best Full Plot, Best Half Plot and also a Scarecrow competition are organised each year and the Leek Allotment & Garden Holders Association host Annual Shows to encourage gardeners to achieve high standards of horticultural practice. There is also opportunity to enter the competitions held in the Horticultural Tent at the Leek & District Show.
