Your Councillors

The Town Council is made up of twelve Councillors who are elected to office every four years. At the helm of the council is the Leek Town Mayor who is appointed for a twelve- month term. 

The Mayor for 2026-2027 is Cllr. Lyn Swindlehurst and the Deputy Mayor is Cllr. Keith Hoptroff.

Leek South Ward: Cllr. Matt Swindlehurst and Cllr Keith Hoptroff

Leek East Ward: Cllr. Paul Powner and Cllr. Dee Young

Leek West Ward: Cllr. Bill Cawley and Cllr Susan Webster

Birchall Ward: Cllr. Stephen Wales and Cllr. Mike Worthington

Leekbrook Ward: Cllr. Derek Hilyer and Cllr. Kate Nicholls
