Leek Town Council Community Grants
Leek Town Council invites applications from the Leek community, for grants to support projects and initiatives that enhance the well-being of the people of our town. Grants are funded from the precept charged to residents of Leek and must be used wisely for the benefit of residents.
The application window is open throughout April 2026 with a closing date of Thursday 30th April 11.59pm.
Applications must show how the grant will benefit the local community, the town or its environment and grants will be awarded based on need, merit and contribution to the local community.
Grants will not be awarded to individuals; organisations involved in political activities; profit making companies; statutory bodies; projects that only benefit adherents to a particular religious belief. (Applications are welcomed from religious or faith groups for projects that benefit the wider community)
Applicants which are not registered charities or social enterprises will be asked to provide the name of a Leek Town Councillor who is willing to recommend the application.

Successful applicants will need to provide feedback to the Council on how funds have been expedited and how successful the project has been.
To apply for a grant please complete the Community Grant Application Form below. You will need to upload a copy of your bank statement or your organisations last certified accounts.

A written decision regarding your application will be sent to you following the 16th June 2026 meeting of the Town Council. If any funds remain in the council’s grant budget, a second grant application window will open in September 2026.
