Bank House was purchased by the town council in 1984. Situated on the corner of St Edwards Street and High Street, the building is currently used for a variety of commercial uses, including Leek Play Hub children’s pre-school age play centre, a pre-school private nursery, a Yoga studio, some offices are used as studios for local artists and the kitchen is used by a master artizan baker who then sells his products at the local markets.
before this, for many years the principle tenant had been with Support Staffordshire, which provided an accredited Volunteer Centre Service.
