This year Leek's Christmas Lights Switch On will take place on Friday 15th November.
4:00pm Moorlands Radio will be broadcasting live from the Market Place and the John Collins funfair will open on High Street, Market Place West and Market Place
4:30pm Dancing performance by Level Up Studios
5:00pm Market Stalls will be open and Santa's Grotto in the Market Place and along Derby Street, and Leek Town Centre Street shops will stay open late. Come along and do some Christmas shopping, there will be lots of festive gifts for sale from local traders and artists. Not to mention the variety of Leek Town Centre pubs on the Leek Real Ale Trail. There will also be an array of local charities with fundraising fun and games, so please support them and have a go.
5:30pm The OobyDooby's will perform on stage in Sparrow Park (Thank you to Docksey's Transport for lending the trailer)
6:30pm There will be a countdown and the Leek Christmas Lights will be switched on.
The Leek Rock Choir will be performing, The Salvation Army will also be performing
The Billerettes may make an entrance and do some comedy dancing, plus watch out for the Stormtroopers
You can have your face painted and there will also be a variety of delicious hot food and drinks available.
Stone Cold Crazy Tribute to Queen will finish the night in style on the main stage in Sparrow Park
